- A lavish summer wedding is being planned at Bitter Creek ranch. In one month, Clay Blackthorne will wed socialite Jocelyn Montrose. - This summer, Bitter Creek Ranch will host the grandest social event in many years--the lavish wedding of Clay Blackthorne and Jocelyn Montrose. Before walking down the aisle, however, Jocelyn learns that her betrothed's bitter rival, North Grayhawk, is planning a hostile takeover of the Blackthorne family business. She offers her body to North--if he'll call off his plans. But Jocelyn's actions and the emergence of an old flame confuse Clay and cast doubt on who will be the next Mrs. Blackthorne
